Analysis of Education Policies on Health & Wellness of Employees
The project is to write a critical policy analysis of Education Policies on Health & Wellness of Employees and suggest a leadership response. The research for this project draws primarily on existing scholarship, media accounts, and policy documents, within the San Francisco Unified School district and requires that you make connections to the attached journal articles.
The critical policy analysis should include an examination of:
What’s the equity/ justice issue within the health and wellness policies, and benefits for employees?
What are the current policies surrounding Education Policies on Health & Wellness of Employees for SFUSD specifically mental health?
What’s the current policy debate around Education Policies on mental Health & Wellness of Employees? Compare and contrast the policy options.
In what ways has the issue been framed?
What are the proposed policy responses?
What interests do the current and proposed policy alternatives serve?
What interests does the current and proposed policy alternatives not serve?
What discourses about children, teachers, leaders, parents, education, schools, or communities are strengthened by the policy and which are ignored or hidden
