When it comes to the differences between the Manuscript, Memorized, Impromptu, and Extemporaneous delivery methods are there but minimal and an example is that manuscript requires you to read to your audience what is exactly on whatever evidence you have brought and it is used mainly when you aren’t sure what it is your reading or haven’t memorized it too well whilst for memorized it’s essentially the same but this time you remember everything word for word and don’t have to look up and down at what you are reading which is mainly used when you are confident about what you are presenting. For the impromptu method, it does go on the further side of differences because in this method it is just thrown on you almost out of nowhere giving you no time to make an outline or prepare so you essentially make things up on the spot, and unfortunately this method comes either when procrastination hits you or your boss needs one by the end of the day. The final method which is extemporaneous is what I see mainly used which is that you create your basic outline with your basic talking points and you go down the list of things to present to the crowd, of course, is used almost all the time seeing as its the best method for time and preparedness.

Going back to the extemporaneous method I would have to say hands down it is the best method because it allows you to set everything up like what you are going to talk about and what evidence you are going to show. All these help with connecting to the audience mainly due to the ability to have an outline seeing as having one lets you make points that you know will connect with the audience. Since I’ve already compared the manuscript method to the extemporaneous method it’s easy to see that just reading to the audience would just be very very boring whilst with the extemporaneous method you can have many points and pictures to capture the audiences attention ultimately meaning they’ll retain more information.
