Students will choose a news media article, and apply concepts discussed during lecture (this can include media introduced) and/or course readings (including your textbook) to the specific case described in the article. Each entry should correspond to material introduced during its specific week (i.e. entry one should apply to content introduced during week 1, entry two should apply to content introduced during week 2…).

More specifically, each entry should include a concise summary of the article (the first 1/3 of the page), followed by a concise analysis and application of course content (the remaining 2/3 of the page). With respect to the analysis and application, this can include: Ideas discussed Definitions Concepts Empirical data Scholarly literature Technical Requirements:

The entries are required to be 1 page single spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font (not including title page and references). APA format should be adhered to for formatting and referencing purposes. Embedded referencing and a reference list are
mandatory for each entry
