In today’s society most of our decisions, beliefs and values are based on what we know, our assumptions and our own experience. We rely on the media to get the current news and facts about what is important and how the entertainment industry influences our views through music, documentaries, fictional movies and TV shows. We often place our trust in the media as an authority to give us news, entertainment and education. However, the influence of mass media on society is an important factor in shaping what we believe.
During the course we are addressing discrimination, biases, cultural differences and racism.
