Victor Frankenstein is a scientist who invents and uses a process to create a living creature. The resulting creature is considered a monster because of it’s size and frightening appearance, and Frankenstein takes no responsibility for caring for this new person. Tragedy after tragedy results. For this paper, I would like to you consider some actual invention that has had negative consequences (with or without some positive consequences) for humanity. Consider whether the invention should or should not have been created, whether it should have been destroyed or banned when the bad consequences became clear, and whether the good consequences of the invention outweigh the bad or are outweighed by the bad. Use quotation marks for direct quotes and cite any sources you use, whether or not you quote directly.
