Major corporations have integrated Web 2.0 technologies such as blogs, forums, podcasts, RSS newsfeeds, and wikis to support knowledge management to improve collaboration, encourage knowledge sharing, and build a corporate memory.
What To Include
Part One: Pick Your Topic
This assignment will be VERY open ended on purpose. I would like to give you an opportunity to try your hand in creating and editing a video.

- For this assignment you will shoot a brief video!
- This video can be recorded on a webcam, your cellphone, or a video recorder the requirement is that is will be able to be put into an editing software or app and altered.
- Look into options of editing software (look for free options or free trials) and choose one that you would like to experiment in making edits to the video. You must include AT LEAST 5 apparent edits!!
Research & Discuss:
In choosing one of these topics you will research and include TWO sources in APA format. Find information and be the expert on the topic.
- Describe a situation in which the use of an expert system would be highly practical as well as very beneficial.
- What are some of the routine day-to-day household tasks that robots are able to accomplish today? What additional tasks might they be able to do in the near future? Are there certain limitations that restrict the kind of household chores robots can do?
- Describe how game theory might be used in a business setting.
- Describe how augmented reality can be used in a classroom. How could it be used in a work setting?
- Describe how assistive living systems might benefit the residents of a nursing home.

Now is your chance to try out this process!
- Create an tutorial video on a skill that you know for any type of audience.
- Develop a short video of a story that you have written.
- Read your favorite book from your childhood.
- Create a training video for your job to share with new employees.
- Look at the safety policies of a company you are interested in working for and make an exciting video about them.

Part Two: Write About It

- There will be two sections that I would like you to discuss:
- Provide information about the topic that you chose and why it is an interest to you! This will be the place to include information that you researched and your citations in APA format!
- Write a report summarizing your experience learning and editing your own video.
- Include information on what edits you made and how the editing process went for you.
- What software did you choose and what influenced that decision?
- How is this skill something that could be useful within a business setting?
- In creating videos in the future, what would you do differently?
